Borrow Our Community Trailer—Free for Redlands Locals

Need to move a fridge, clear green waste after a weekend tidy-up, or run a quick IKEA run? Our Community Trailer is here to help—free to borrow for local residents. It’s one small way we give back to the Redlands community we love.

How it works

• 1) Check availability: Call 04334 058 814 and ask for Indy to see when the trailer is free.

• 2) Book a time: We’ll book you in for a time that suits your schedule.

• 3) Pick up & go: Bring photo ID and your current driver’s licence on pick-up day. We’ll run through a quick safety check, and you’re on your way.

Who can borrow it and what for?

• Redlands locals (homeowners, tenants, community groups, sporting clubs, schools)
• Small weekend projects, decluttering, dump runs, moving boxes/furniture, gardening waste, marketplace pickups and more
  
  

What to bring on the day

• Photo ID + driver’s licence (must be the person towing)
• Suitable towing vehicle (with a working tow bar and electrics)

Safety first (quick checklist)

• Strap everything down firmly; nothing should move if you tug it
• Check lights, indicators and brake lights are working
• Observe local road rules and posted speed limits for towing
• Do a quick walk-around every time you stop

To keep the trailer available for everyone:

• Return it clean and on time
• Report any damage straight away so we can fix it for the next borrower
